August, the Sunday of Summer!

Doubt Kills More Dreams Than Failure Ever Will.

Meal Prep Recipes For August 2018

Hi there Vie Girl! Welcome to our August recipe post. Staying on track with your meals during busy times can be hard – but it’s not impossible. We’d like to remind you that while August is a busy month for many, from summer vacays to the kids going back to school, it’s important to make nourishing your body with food and self-love a priority. Keep in mind that your nutrition shouldn’t be low fat or low calorie and it’s definitely not being hungry and feeling deprived. It’s giving your body the opportunity to fuel with real, whole foods so that you are not only satisfied but fed, ready to live life to the fullest. Working out at Vie to develop strength takes one hour of your day while controlling what goes on your plate and in your mouth for the remaining 23 hours of the day is the true strength.

This months meal prep mantra:

Les sugar, more fruit.

Less soda, more water.

Less driving, more walking.

Less worry, more sleep.

Less words, more action.

Eat to fuel your body, not your emotions.

Spicy Buffalo Chickpea Wraps | Minimalist Baker Recipes

Have I ever told you I was raised on spicy food? If I was to survey my dad’s pantry right now, I’d likely only find canned soup, black pepper, and a giant jar of jalapeños. You know, the essentials. I coat my food with black pepper before ever trying it.
