TrueMed is a third-party partner that helps you unlock the pre-tax funds you already have. Here's the whole process.
Pay for your Vie membership with your personal debit or credit card. With your LMN and your Vie receipts, submit to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement using pre-tax dollars.
If the provider determines that exercise at Vie can help treat or manage a qualifying condition (such as obesity, hypertension, chronic pain, or anxiety), they'll issue a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). One letter covers 12 months.
Click the button below to complete TrueMed's private health questionnaire. It takes about five minutes, and there's a one-time $20 fee at the end. Your answers go to a licensed medical provider for review.
Pay for your Vie membership the way you always have with a personal debit or credit card. Once you have your Letter of Medical Necessity through TrueMed, you can submit your membership for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA administrator. The letter documents that your membership meets IRS requirements for a qualified medical expense.
You won't use an HSA card as your monthly membership payment method. Vie uses the reimbursement model only, so you pay normally, then submit for reimbursement.
Keep paying for your Vie membership with your personal card, exactly as you do now. Nothing about your billing changes.
Submit the claim. Your administrator reimburses you with your pre-tax funds — typically within a couple weeks.
Take the five-minute survey to find out if you can start saving with pre-tax dollars. There's a one-time $20 fee for the provider review, and your Letter of Medical Necessity covers a full year.
