Meal Prep Recipes For December 2016

Welcome to the most magical time of the year!  There are 35 days between Thanksgiving and New Year’s day and we plan on making the absolute most out of this time.  You are going to be able to arrive fashionably late to every single Christmas party you have on your calendar AND still be able to eat healthy and workout.  How do you accomplish this feat of all feats- planning?  Simple and straightforward, as cliche as it sounds you need to plan for success.  Vie Athletics wants to be part of this success.

We have provided a December meal plan for all your Dinners this month! Every meal provides 4-5oz protein, 1 serving of carbs, 1 cup of vegetables. There are two ideas for each week, providing you with four total meals a week.  We left a couple days out for flexibility purposes :).  When you make your four meals is up to you, however, we suggest aiming for Sunday so you can start the week out strong.

If you currently don’t have any Tupperware we suggest these guys- they are BPA free, microwavable and dishwasher safe.  Just a suggestion :).

We would love for everyone to join us on this plan!  Nutrition is so important for overall health and we don’t want to shy away from the challenge.  Let’s join as a community and really get into this together.  Share your yummy creations with us on your Instagram and Facebook! Use our hashtag #vieathletics so we can see what you are up to!

Learn the secret for making the best turkey meatloaf. Jump to the Turkey Meatloaf Recipe now or read on to see how we make it. We never used to make turkey meatloaf. We make turkey meatballs all the time, but never meatloaf. I always had the idea that it would be dry and tasteless.

Skinny Chicken Fried Rice – Live Laugh Rowe

I’m sharing this Skinny Chicken Fried Rice and how I use Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant for clean up as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #ZepSocialstars I love Chinese food. An all time favorite I discovered from a friend (thank you, Michelle) is Sesame Chicken. Oh my yummy goodness!

Skinny Spaghetti and Meatballs – Pinch of Yum

click here to Pin this recipe This is my love language. Everything good (in this case: lean turkey veggie meatballs and smooth, tangy tomato sauce with fresh green herbs) tangled up in hot pasta and just exploding with color and texture. *closes eyes and purrs* I seriously love it.

Great idea! This will help so many women & their families! I’d love to see vegetarian options each week! We are a plant based family and my extended family are vegan (my SIL & my mom with it there).
