Empathetic—Persevering—Humble

There are so many wonderful things we could say about Teresa we don’t even know where to start! Teresa started going to Vie Athletics two times a week when it wasn’t convenient. Between the long drive and her son’s numerous activities she still found time to sneak in a quick Vie workout. She has never complained! She might get tired, hot, and sweaty, but she never once has said anything negative. She does what she can when she can and we admire her for it! There is a proverb that says, “You are who you spend your time with.” We hope this is true because the world needs more women like her. We love you Teresa. Thank you for growing in strength and sisterhood with us.

♥ How long have you been a member at Vie?

4 months

What does Vie mean to you?

a place for women to get encouraged and to get healthy right where they are and what level of fitness they are. A place where you have coaching to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout. You can do 100 push-ups but if you aren’t doing them correctly it doesn’t matter.

♥ When you are not at Vie, what are you up to?

running, playing baseball/football with my son, doing fun family things with my boyfriend.

How has Vie made an impact on your life?

I used to run alot… I would run 4-5 days a week. I have competed in a 1/2 marathon and even a full marathon.  Life changed when I didn’t have a race to train for and I was preparing to move. I started skipping runs as I felt I didn’t have time.  Then I heard of Vie. I needed a place to go where I could start right where I was in my fitness. There was no expectation of a certain level I needed to be at to start or keep up with the other VieGirls. I found a place where I could have ME time and get back on track to my fitness goals.

♥ What music gets you pumped for a workout?

hip hop..upbeat workout music.. little bit of rock gets you going

♥ What thoughts run through your mind during a workout?

I am so out of shape, this is harder than it looks…. 20 seconds is really a long time when doing tabata

♥ What motivates you to get to Vie every day? 

When life tends to get stressful VIE is a great release.
