Hey Sis!

Welcome to our cozy corner, where I’m sharing a slice of my life as we step into 2024. Think of it as a friendly chat over coffee, where I reveal the simple yet effective habits that keep my days bright and my energy high. They’re not revolutionary, but they’re real, and they work for me. Maybe you’ll find a gem or two that resonates with your own journey.

1. Clarity through Clutter-Free Living
Keeping my space clutter-free is like having an ongoing conversation with my surroundings. It’s not just about cleanliness; it’s about creating an environment where my mind can wander freely without tripping over yesterday’s mess. It’s a routine that keeps me grounded and my thoughts clear, proving that sometimes, less really is more.

2. Preparation Paves the Path
Setting out my workout gear each night is like a wink at Future Me. It’s a small but meaningful gesture, a reminder that a little preparation today can pave the way for a smoother tomorrow. It’s a practical step that echoes the larger truth: life’s a bit easier when we’ve got our ducks in a row.

3. Everyday Essentials
Morning supplements are my unassuming but steadfast health allies. They are a subtle reminder to look after myself, ensuring I’m nutritionally equipped for whatever lies ahead. It’s a practical step, but one that consistently steers me towards healthier choices.

4. Buddies on the Bandwagon
Inviting friends to join my fitness journey isn’t just about the workout; it’s about the shared laughter, motivation, and sometimes the comedic relief of trying to keep up with each other. It’s these moments of connection that transform routine workouts into fond memories.

5. Simple Celebrations
Rewarding myself for small victories is key. A chill Friday evening with a cocktail, a hot bath, a good book, or a special date with my husband Luke are my favorite ways to celebrate progress. It’s about acknowledging hard work and allowing myself those moments of simple pleasure.

6. Flexible Fitness
I’ve learned to be flexible with my daily workout schedule. While I may prefer morning workouts, I adapt to what each day brings. This adaptability allows me to maintain a consistent fitness routine that aligns with my daily life and energy levels.

7. Cherishing the Simple Moments
Quality time with family doing ‘nothing’ is something I treasure deeply. Be it making breakfast together, chatting about our days, or embracing our evening routines, these moments are far from mundane; they are a gift. I work hard not for constant activity, but for these precious instances of togetherness. It’s in these simple, quiet times that I find the greatest joy and fulfillment.

8. Thoughtful ‘No’s
Saying ‘no’ is about making space for meaningful ‘yeses’. It’s a practice in prioritizing, ensuring that my commitments are manageable and heartfelt. This approach allows me to be fully present for the things I choose to engage in.

9. Find the Funny in the Everyday
I try to find humor in the daily grind. It’s about not taking life too seriously and finding joy in the little things – whether it’s a quirky moment during the day or a light-hearted joke shared with a friend. Keeping a sense of humor helps keep life’s challenges in perspective.

10. Consistency is Key
I workout 5-6 days a week, and honestly, there’s no place like Vie Athletics for me to grow stronger. This routine does take a bit of discipline, but the sense of confidence, strength, and inner peace I gain is absolutely worth it. I love holding myself to this standard, but I also believe in the importance of self-compassion. On days when a workout just isn’t possible, I give myself grace. Normally, though, you’ll find me committed to my 5-6 workouts a week, each one a small celebration of what my body and mind can achieve.

That’s a wrap! I hope my little life insights have brought a smile or sparked a thought. In the spirit of “Lift, Laugh, Love,” let’s carry these ideas into our days, lifting not just weights but each other’s spirits, laughing at the little surprises life throws our way, and loving the beautiful, messy journey. Thank you for sharing this moment with me. May your year be as fulfilling and joyous as you envision it to be.

Warm regards and lots of laughter,

Amber
