Hang Power Clean

We know any movement with a barbell can be intimidating and difficult to learn, however once you get past the beginning learning stage they are incredibly fun!  To help you become more comfortable, we have demonstrated a few simple progressions that should help you get from nervous to fun in not time!  Do yourself a favor and be patient with yourself.  We are all still learning!  The important part is that we are trying and moving (and moving well).  Enjoy our fitness tips!

—Place Feet directly below hips— 

—Place hands slightly outside of shoulder width—

—Position 1 – slight bend to knees—

—Position 2- slight bend in knees with hips hinged back—

—Keep the bar path close to your body—

—Rack the bar on your shoulders with light fingertips—
