Tis the hardest season to find balanced nutrition. We know holiday traditions bring forth all our favorite nostalgic treats, however, our bodies need more than these goodies to sustain us through our workouts. We are here to help!
Basic nutrition guidelines to help (female) portion control:
The palm of your hand = a serving of protein.
Your fist = a serving of vegetables.
Cupped hand = a serving of carbs.
Your thumb = a serving of fat.
Moderation is key. Make good choices, one meal at a time.
